Creating the Batcave

So, it looks like I haven't posted about this before, which is surprising! So I guess I'll start ...

Ever since we bought our first house together (that last house), I've wanted a place where I can display and enjoy all the items I've acquired for my hobby. That hobby is superheros / superhero movie costumes / props. I seem to have collected a good amount of stuff for this hobby, and always wanted a place to display it where it would actually look cool and not only nerdy. Sure, it'll always look nerdy ... but at least it will look cool for nerds! Get it!?

We want a new master bath! Part II

Well, after much deliberation, I think we have decided that totally TOTALLY re-doing our master bath isn't a good idea.  Moving plumbing across a room is way too expensive!  We are just feeling like we were over-thinking this renovation, and need to just "keep it simple, stupid" (K.I.S.S.)!

Ariane came up with a couple new plans, both of which are good ideas.  They both will keep the closet and bathroom where they are, but will move the sink around to provide more room, and elongate the shower area.  The only difference is where the wall for the closet will be:

Plan A: bigger closet, but  you have to walk through it

Plan B: smaller closet, but it is closed off

After thinking about it more, Ariane came up with a third option - to keep the wall where it is (like Plan A) but also have a closet wall (like Plan B).  The space in between the two walls will house something like a linen closet.  The idea is to provide storage but also keep it nice-looking so you don't have to walk through your clothes on the way to the bathroom!

I'll have to get a diagram created for that ...
